The Athens Rotary Club & The Spirit of Athens have won an award of Excellence from Main Street Alabama.  The Excellence in Public/Private Partnerships recognized Athens Rotary and SOA for their joint efforts to beautify downtown Athens though project such as "Pecan Park."
